Crockerne Church of England Primary School has joined the multi-academy trust, Inspirational Futures Trust (IFT) as of 1 November 2016.
The school in Pill, Bristol, is the fifth academy to join the Trust which was established in 2013. It joins St Katherine’s School, the North Somerset Enterprise and Technology College, Bristol Futures Academy and Herons’ Moor Academy.
Crockerne are very proud of their Church School distinctiveness. They work to promote a family ethos in the school, supported by their Christian values. In 2013, Crockerne was rated good by education watchdog Ofsted, and has high hopes that the support of the Trust will help them reach outstanding.
Geeta Verrell, joint head teacher at Crockerne, said: “Crockerne is delighted to have joined IFT.
“We will continue to be a church school, at the heart of our community which prides itself on working in partnership with parents, nurturing and valuing individuals and developing our children as learners.
“We look forward to working with the other providers in the trust on our exciting journey towards outstanding.”
On the addition of Crockerne into the Trust, Chris Wade, CEO, said: “As the new CEO of Inspirational Futures Trust, I am very pleased to welcome Crockerne Church of England Primary School to the multi-academy trust.”
